The Democrats are growing tired of President Biden and his blunders and weakness. Senator Tom Malinowski of New Jersey added to the criticism of the President for his recent trip to the Middle East to visit with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The Senator told CNN that “he was not entirely comfortable”, with the President fist bumping the Crown Prince, or MBS. The images make the President look weak amidst cries of human rights violations committed by the leader of Saudi Arabia.

Mohammed bin Salman allegedly ordered the death of Jamal Kashoggi of The Washington Post. He denies being directly involved in the murder and points out arrests were made resulting in people going to prison.

Malinowski goes on to say, “We are the superpower, not the supplicant in this relationship. And I want to make sure that whatever they are discussing right now, we come out of this with the concessions that Saudi Arabia needs to make right their relationship with us”.

The President flew to the Middle East to beg the Saudis for help with the growing energy crisis in the United States. The expectation was to ask the Crown Prince to increase oil production to bring gas prices down here in America.

Biden’s fist bump with the Crown Prince has come under intense scrutiny because it makes Mohammed bin Salman look friendly.

Washington Post editor Fred Ryan asked “why is President Biden now going to Jiddah on bended knee to shake the “pariah’s” bloodstained hand? Once again, he is seeking votes”.

The President has tried to justify the meeting. He revealed what was discussed in the meeting with the Crown Prince. He claims to have confronted MBS on the Kashoggi killer after calling Saudi Arabia a “pariah” during the 2020 campaign.

After telling the media about the meeting with the Crown Prince, the Saudi government denied it. The Saudi minister of state for foreign affairs Adel Al-Jubeir told reporters that he did not hear Biden place blame for the killing on MBS during the meeting, according to The New York Times.

“The president should know meeting with Mohammed bin Salman, or MBS, as he is known, will give the Saudi leader exactly what three years of Saudi PR campaigns, lobbying expenses, and even a new golf league have not,” Ryan added in his opinion piece.

The golf league Ryan is the LIV League. A new league funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. The organizers have thrown a lot of cash at golfers in the PGA Tour to try and draw them into the league. The biggest names to join up are Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson.

Many players have accepted the cash and as a result, the PGA has suspended them. Biden’s response was to use his attack dog, the Justice Department, to investigate the PGA for violations of Anti-Trust laws. The announcement of the investigation was made just before Biden’s trip to the Middle East.
