Trump To Hold Historic Rally For Honoring Police, Firefighters and Teachers in Madison Square Garden

Amid his political persecution in the state, former president Trump expressed high confidence in winning in New York.

Before proceeding with his bogus hush money trial, he hinted at the possibility of holding a rally in the South Bronx.

“I think we have a good chance of winning here, and we’re going to give it a big plan.”

“We’re going to the South Bronx to do a rally.”

“We’re going to be doing a rally at Madison Square Garden, we believe,” Trump hinted.

The Republican presumptive nominee emphasized that the core of the event will be to honor police, firefighters, and teachers.

“We’ll be honoring the people that make New York work.”

“It’ll be very exciting, but we think we have a really good chance of winning,” the former president added.

He also took the opportunity to criticize President Joe Biden’s failed policies in the economy, immigration, and handling of the growing antisemitism in America’s top universities.

“[Police] would like to be at the colleges” to secure the campuses “because what’s happening at the colleges is a disgrace,” Trump quipped.

“This courthouse is locked down, and there’s not a person within five blocks. They have more police here.”

“This is the worst-run country right now,” the former president remarked.

“All you have to do is look at the millions of people coming in from prisons and mental institutions —coming in at levels we’ve never seen before.”

Trump also pointed out how his ongoing sham election interference trial is “driving up [his] poll numbers.”

A recent report by Morning Consult/Bloomberg found Trump has continued to dominate in swing states against Biden by six percent; 49 percent of respondents favor the Republican nominee, while 43 percent favor the 81-year-old president.

Moreover, Trump has toppled Biden’s positive swing in state polling as he leads in Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada. Meanwhile, Biden leads by merely 2 percent against the former president in Michigan.

Respondents blame Biden for the sluggish economy, and it’s hurting the Democrats’ ballots.

For Trump, even never-Trumpers could not deny how effective the campaign and messaging of the Republican presumptive nominee today were.

Karl Rove, one of Trump’s critics, remarked on Fox News: “He’s done this several times before.”

“Whoever’s advising him on this ought to be given a gold star because it’s good advice.”

“It is better for him to grab moments like this, walking in and commenting on the news of the day,” Rove said, “rather than making it all about what he feels [about the criminal trial].
