Breaking the records of border intrusions, the Customs and Border Protection released data revealing hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants were caught trespassing the Southwest border and many of them were granted “parole”.

According to the CBP report, border agents arrested 191,000 illegal immigrants in the Southwest, while 51,000 unauthorized migrants who showed up demanding entry were granted parole.

Among those arrested in November were 18 individuals included on the terror watch list. During the first two months of 2023, agents nabbed 30 terrorists at the southern border, which totals 169, breaking the records under elderly Biden in 2022.

The report was published ahead of the Christmas holiday weekend, which earned the ire of top GOP lawmakers.

The Republicans warned that this may be an attempt to downplay bad news amid holiday celebrations.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green said, “By strategically holding the release of these numbers until the Friday before Christmas, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is unabashedly showing the full measure of his duplicity. These numbers are so bad, he wants as few Americans to see them as possible.”

“And December’s numbers, which will be released in January, are anticipated to be even more grim. Fortunately, next month the Secretary won’t have a major holiday as a convenient shield to hide behind.”

Green said that this move further gave justification for “initiating impeachment proceedings against Secretary Mayorkas early in the new year.”

Mayors of Democrat-led cities have already cried for help as migrants continue to surge in their areas. They appealed for $5 billion in financial support from the federal government as the border crisis had already affected their cities.

A caravan of more than 8,000 migrants began their march from Mexico towards the US border, which was the largest to crash the border since June 2022.

Leaders of the caravan warn that it might swell to 15,000 individuals by the time they have reached the United States. Some brought banners with the call “exodus from poverty.”

To try to stop the influx of people into the country, US Customs and Border Patrol stopped railway operations at international crossings into Texas last week. It also pulled out air marshals from their jobs to transport illegal migrants to Democrat-led cities.

The surge of “asylum-seekers” overloaded border agents, with migrants outnumbering agents 200 to 1.

The CBP said that there has been a spike in fentanyl smuggled to the US in November.

Despite Mayorkas attempts to control the flow of illegals, the numbers continue to skyrocket. Even immigrant juveniles add up to the numbers.
