Air Marshals Pulled Off from Job To Secure and Transport Illegal Migrants, Airline Crew Kept in Dark

Air marshals seemed to have a new job description on their badge as they have been guarding the southern border for over a year now.

Sonya LaBosco, director of the Air Marshal National Council, remarked in her interview with Fox & Friends, that as of Thursday, they were even chauffeuring illegal migrants to the airport for flights.

LaBosco said that the US Air Marshals are on the border “still.”

“We are doing one thing new,…we are now driving illegal migrants to the airport, to get on the aircraft that we are not on.”

She even added how ironic it is that they are escorting people whom they have not identified. Many of them don’t have a valid ID to enter the airport, yet a special lane was created for their use.

“So the air marshalls are dropping them off to the airport, so they can get to the special aisle, to get on the aircraft without any air marshalls present.”

During the interview, the director also mentioned that these “asylum seekers” are flying to 48 different states and across the country.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has also sounded the alarm with the present situation of air travel, and the lack of air marshals makes Americans vulnerable to terror attacks.

She also slammed how the TSA and DHS are turning a blind eye to what is happening in the country.

“FBI Director Cris Raig testify on Senate Judiciary Committee, that we’re blinking red everywhere but we don’t have Air Marshal still.”

The US Air Marshal’s job is to watch out and thwart possible terror threats, focusing on national security.

“We can’t do the job if we’re down on the border, in Arizona,” noted Labosco.

She also warned travelers to watch out and travel safely. The AAA recently forecasted that about 7.5 million Americans for the Christmas holidays.

“We are in a very grim situation, it’s dangerous out there. I pray for the American people to travel safely. they’re not gonna have their air marshalls, while they’re doing it.”

LaBosco earlier reported that flying air marshals had been depleted as they were ushering illegal immigrants on the border during the Thanksgiving holiday, which meant that instead of securing the transport sector where they should belong, they were now aiding border agents on the Southern border. None of them are back from their original jobs yet.

The director points to the Department of Homeland Security and Transportation Security Admission for the border control mess.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) criticized the TSA on the ongoing air marshal deployments at the southern border. Cruz probed TSA administrator David Pekoske, “It is concerning that the administration has prioritized ushering illegal immigrants into the country over protecting the lives and safety of the traveling public.”

LaBosco and Cruz are worried that these deployments will endanger travelers.

According to LaBosco, the deployment was initially voluntary. But with the gravity of the border crisis, it was shifted to mandatory. This enraged marshals while some even initiated mutiny.

During the Thanksgiving interview, the Air Marshal National Council director also pressed Secretary Mayorkas, who claimed more than once that “the border is secure, so he is not concerned with that.”

“But we all know that the border is not secure. He will not call this a crisis. But now, not only is the border destabilized, our aviation is destabilized as well.”

She also revealed that they have been surveilling people allegedly involved with the January 6 demonstrations in the Capitol.

“Clearly…we’re not flying right now. The only missions that we’re doing are quiet skies missions, and those are missions that are following the January 2021 people,” she continued, meaning a group in the industry is dedicated to following those who flew to the U.S. Capitol region around the time of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, regardless of whether they were present at the Capitol.

“We’re either on the border for illegal immigrants or we’re following folks from January 2021. We’re not doing our regular missions where we’re out there looking for the bad guys. So right now, on most flights, you’re not going to have air marshals.”

Delta and American Airlines are kept in the dark

While air marshals are pulled from airports to aid in border woes, pilots and airline crew have no idea they are boarding illegal immigrants who even bypassed required security and health screenings. Some even used arrest warrants as ID.

In an exposé by Ashley St. Clair, writer for The Babylon Bee, the journalist noted that “an unprecedented number of migrants” are boarding commercial airplanes.

She added, “Pilots are typically given the assurance that everybody is going through the same security check and international refugees are getting proper health screenings.”

However, “this is not happening with the migrants crossing the border and being flown by NGOs and Biden administration on commercial flights.”
