CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Burned for Twisting Trump’s Speech on Illegal Immigration in Michigan

Republican strategist Scott Jennings burned CNN host and Democrat lapdog Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday for taking Donald Trump’s remarks on illegal immigration out of context.

In a campaign rally on Tuesday in Grand Rapids, Michigan, President Trump blasted Laken Riley’s murderer, calling him an “animal.”

Blitzer had a long history of misrepresenting Trump’s speeches and remarks. During the interview, he echoed a clip shared by Biden’s campaign team on X, claiming that the former president described immigrants as “animals.”

However, Jennings won’t let Blitzer’s lies slide this time and corrects him on air.

“I listened to the entire tape,” the Republican strategist blasted.

“He was specifically talking about the person who murdered Laken Riley in Georgia, and to be honest with you, Wolf, if somebody murders another human being, I think they deserve to be called animals, and I don‘t think any American is really going to reject that kind of rhetoric.”

He added that Riley was murdered in cold blood, and her killer, Jose Antonio Ibarra, an immigrant from Venezuela, entered the southern border illegally.

Jennings added, “And I don’t think any American is really going to reject that kind of rhetoric. That poor girl was murdered in cold blood. Is that person who did it, not an animal? I think that’s an apt term.”

Ibarra took the 22-year-old nursing student into a wooded area inside the Georgia State University campus. Authorities also ruled that Riley died from blunt force trauma in the head.

Riley’s murderer is facing a series of charges, including malice murder, felony murder, concealing the death of another person, kidnapping, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.

Blitzer attempted to push back and said, “So you think he was only referring to those murderers, not referring in general to illegal immigrants who are coming into the United States?”

“I listened to the tape; that’s exactly what he was talking about, in my opinion,” stated Jennings.

GOPers slammed the clip that Blitzer shared and highlighted that this was an outright attempt to distort Trump’s valid remarks.

Reviewing the footage of his speech in Michigan, Trump recalled meeting Riley’s parents and blasted Laken’s murderer, calling him an “illegal alien animal” for the barbaric crime he committed against the 22-year-old student.

“The 22-year-old nursing student in Georgia [who] was barbarously murdered by an illegal alien animal. The Democrats say, ‘Please don’t call them animals. They’re humans.’ I said no, they’re not humans. They’re animals,” said Trump.
