Though the Biden administration, the intel community, and the mainstream media would like you to believe that the Hunter Biden laptop had “all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation,” it’s been the source for a pile of evidence against the first son.

The Hunter Biden investigation began in 2018. The probe was related to Hunter’s finances and the connection to his overseas business ties and consulting work.

The focus shifted in the years following the initial investigation to tax evasion by failing to report all of his income and whether or not he lied on a gun purchasing form by denying his drug use.

The form asks, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” To which the younger Biden answered, “No.”

After much speculation and an accusation by an IRS whistleblower that the Department of Justice was dragging its feet on the investigation because of partisan Attorney General Merrick Garland, the prosecutors may be ready to act.

Garland has said numerous times that this case would not be politicized and that U.S. Attorney David Weiss has “complete authority to run the investigation.”

He reiterated this week what he previously said in testimony before Congress, “I stand by my testimony, and I refer you to the U.S. attorney for the District of Delaware, who is in charge of this case and capable of making any decisions that he feels are appropriate.”

According to a report in the Washington Post:

Prosecutors are nearing a decision on whether to charge President Biden’s son Hunter with tax and gun-related violations, according to people familiar with the matter, the culmination of a four-year investigation that Republicans have sought to portray as evidence the Biden family is corrupt.

Biden’s attorneys met at Justice Department headquarters in downtown Washington last week to discuss the case with U.S. Attorney David Weiss of Delaware, according to the people familiar with the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing criminal investigation.

Typically, that sort of meeting — in which defense lawyers urge prosecutors not to seek an indictment of their client, or to seek reduced charges — comes toward the end of an investigation.

While the American people and those on the right might be inclined to think that a Democrat might finally be punished for something, recent history would tell us to be cautious.

“No one is above the law” is the mantra of the left but it appears to only apply to Republicans like former President Trump or the people rotting a DC prison for the January 6th riot.

Hunter Biden recently traveled with his father to Ireland and has been ordered to answer additional questions about his finances relating to his art sales and investments in a child support case.

The legal woes for Hunter Biden are piling up.

When asked about the federal tax and gun investigation in 2020, the first son said, “I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”

Will Hunter Biden be indicted? It would come as a shock to most Americans with a little bit of skepticism. Why now?
