Former President Donald Trump is now aiming to bring forward a new running ally as his VP for his 2024 presidential campaign, though, none of his mates are yet clear to be his favorite.

Trump has been conducting meetings in order to choose a potential nominee for his vice president.

Though, few of his officials are recommending him to nominate any woman or someone of color to attract a wider demographic.

On the other hand, some of his mates are suggesting to nominate any person who has a strong conservative history to energize his base.

Trump’s close ally from his campaign, John McLaughlin claimed:

“A lot of times, a presidential candidate will pick a running mate to balance out wings of the party. But with Trump, that’s not the issue. He is the party, basically. It’s so united behind him. So his choice, if he runs, will come down to what he wants. It would be a much more personal decision this time.”

Trump’s aid Tony Fabrizio stated:

“He’s not necessarily looking to balance the ticket geographically, but what he can do is pick to balance gender, race, ethnicity — a lot of different lanes there. It could be everything from a Tim Scott in South Carolina to an Asian American in California, somebody Hispanic in Texas. There are so many choices and paths. And there’s lots of time to go.”

Numerous eligible nominees have been cited including Mike Pompeo, Ron DeSantis and Kristi Noem, but still, Donald Trump has not decided his running ally.

Fabrizio added:

“He’s not necessarily looking to balance the ticket geographically, but what he can do is pick to balance gender, race, ethnicity… It could be everything from a Tim Scott in South Carolina to an Asian American in California, somebody Hispanic in Texas. There are so many choices and paths. And there’s lots of time to go.”
