Eric Trump warns that the Democrats’ lawfare against his father, Donald Trump, could backfire on Joe Biden and Barrack Obama if the Supreme Court fails to rule on the former president’s bid for absolute immunity.
Trump, the current executive vice president of Trump Organization, Inc., spoke with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo last Sunday and sounded off the possibility of prosecutors lining up to file charges against Biden.
“They’ll probably go after Joe Biden for having cocaine in the White House. They’ll go after Biden for raiding his opponent’s home,” Eric Trump, 40, predicted.
“They will probably go after him… for literally two weeks before the 2022 primaries, literally depleting the petroleum national reserves so he could lower gas prices,” he continued.
Last year, Secret Service agents discovered a gram of cocaine just a flow below the Oval Office.
After less than two weeks of so-called investigation, the Secret Service closed the case without identifying the culprit, claiming that the security cameras were not able to capture the suspect.
On Thursday, Supreme Court justices tackled a historic case where President Trump asserts that a sitting president enjoys absolute immunity for their official actions, and if so, the courts should junk the four-count election-related lawsuits against him.
Eric further argued that the only ones who will benefit if the SCOTUS rules against Trump’s immunity, are those who are in “big law firms in Washington, D.C., because they are going to go after every single president.”
He also cited Obama’s involvement with the Operation Fast and Furious Controversy and the IRS going after Republicans.
“Who is next after Donald Trump? Barack Obama? George Bush? Bill Clinton? Where does it stop? How much money will the lawyers in Washington, DC, make?”
Trump’s son added that even George Bush could get indicted after he was involved in a scandal over his claims of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
“The only people that are going to win are going to be the lawyers in Washington, D.C. The floodgates are going to open,” he quipped.
“And I guarantee you, Joe Biden will not have one foot outside of the White House doors before they start going after him legally, ruthlessly.”
He also echoed his father as he stressed that presidents “need immunity in this country. If they don’t, their entire tenure as president is literally going to be filled in depositions and subpoenas, like they have tried to do to my father for the last eight years.”
“We can’t have this legal lawfare in this country. We need a president to actually be able to function and run the United States of America.”
