Midterms are only days away. The Democrats decided to somewhat ditch abortion rights and woke ideologies aside. Those talking points weren’t helping them, so they are returning to one of their oldest tricks; blame the Republicans.

The top issues for most voters that left-stream media is willing to show is that the economy and inflation are the top issues for voters. It is still the economy and inflation on conservative sites, with education and crime rates trailing behind.

The Democrats are now sensing a big loss come November. You will see this new message everywhere as their last-ditch attempt.

The Hill reported:

President Biden on Thursday argued that inflation will get worse if Republicans win control of Congress in the midterm elections next month.

“If Republicans win, inflation’s going to get worse. It’s that simple,” Biden said in remarks in Los Angeles.

Like well-trained seals, the media is going to carry on with this new narrative. Some sources are trying to downplay the rising inflation. They say that the “worst is behind us.”

Next Advisor reported:

While recent signs suggest the worst may be behind us, inflation is still a major concern for ordinary Americans and the Federal Reserve. And experts say it’ll likely be a couple of years before prices really come down from the highs they’ve seen this year.

September inflation data showed that overall prices were up slightly for the month and up 8.2% year-over-year, despite the Federal Reserve’s efforts to get prices under control. The most recent jobs report was strong, but this only adds to the complexity. Many economists say low unemployment threatens to keep inflation high, which means more aggressive rate hikes from the Fed could come.

“Even with the likelihood that inflation has peaked, inflation will still remain elevated for some time, as supply chain issues persist and there is still plenty of instability with the Ukraine war, which has caused significant swings in energy prices,” says Zach Stein, chief investment officer at Carbon Collective, an investment advisory firm.

If the media were honest, they would tell us that we are in a recession. However, left-stream sources and the White House are now going out of their way to change the definition of “recession.”

If you were to ask Google what the definition of a recession is, it would tell you that a recession is generally identified by a fall in the GDP for two consecutive quarters. By this definition, the US entered a recession in the summer of 2022.

When you go onto the White House website, they will not admit that the US is in a recession under Joe Biden. Instead, they downplay it and state that the data from every facet of the economy must be considered before declaring that the country is in a recession.

The White House from the summer of 2022:

What is a recession? While some maintain that two consecutive quarters of falling real GDP constitute a recession, that is neither the official definition nor the way economists evaluate the state of the business cycle. Instead, both official determinations of recessions and economists’ assessment of economic activity are based on a holistic look at the data—including the labor market, consumer and business spending, industrial production, and incomes. Based on these data, it is unlikely that the decline in GDP in the first quarter of this year—even if followed by another GDP decline in the second quarter—indicates a recession.

This is the Biden universe that we are living in, and to a degree, the left-stream media is not far off from saying that the Republicans will make it worse. The Republicans are infamous for doing nothing, and it is highly possible that they won’t do anything to fix it just so that they have an easier time in 2024. They have done it before with Obama’s reelection.

If you have ever worked on the Hill, you will learn quickly that most of the Republicans there are like Liz Cheney. They are not there to change the status quo or to fix things. They are there for themselves, not for the people who elected them.

That is why you must take their “Commitment to America” with a grain of salt. Once the GOP takes over the House and Senate, they need to be bombarded with phone calls and emails until they follow through with what they promised to do. Otherwise, they will be sent pictures of Liz Cheney to warn them of their impending political future.
