Former President Donald Trump has been teasing a 2024 presidential run ever since he left office in January of 2021.

The day is possibly finally here. Trump is making a big announcement tonight from Mar-a-Lago, his Florida estate.

Most political pundits are speculating that he will announce it tonight.

Some are opining that now is not the time.

Others are saying the former president is announcing now to avoid being indicted.

At his rally in Ohio last week, he named November 15 as the night he’ll make “a very big announcement.”

“I’m going to be making a very big announcement on Tuesday, November 15, at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida,” the former president told the crowd.

He reportedly was going to announce at the rally but decided to wait so as to “not detract from the importance” of the midterm elections.

When Trump was asked by reporters who he would pick as his running mate, he replied, “I’ll let you know very soon.”

A correspondent for The New York Times Magazine, Robert Draper, claims that Trump is seriously considering Marjorie Taylor Greene as his running mate.

Draper said in an interview with The Daily Beast’s podcast “that Greene had risen quickly in her first term in Congress by using the same tactics she honed as a right-wing social media influencer harassing Democratic staffers, and she could shoot to the second-highest office in government.”

MTG is a fierce fighter for the American people and a loyal Trump supporter.

In discussing the congresswoman, who held onto her seat in the midterms, Draper said, “Republicans kind of wanted to kick her to the curb immediately, but instead, she became a fundraising dynamo, came to have this huge social media influence, and ultimately came to be very influential within the party itself.”

Draper feels that Trump wants or needs someone who will “fight for him to overturn a presidential election.”

He said speaking of Trump, “He has every reason to expect that Greene would be by his side and would be his proximate warrior.”

Greene is not the only female Republican name being thrown around as a possible VP pick.

There is a lot of speculation surrounding Elise Stefanik. The representative from New York is currently the party’s number 3 ranking member.

In a September Foreign Policy story titled, “Elise Stefanik Is Most Likely to Succeed,” the authors described Stefanik writing, “A young woman once hailed as the future of the Republican Party embraces Trumpism to stay that way.”

If you thought you were going to have a break after the midterm elections, think again. The campaign may start tonight.

“Hopefully TODAY will turn out to be one of the most important days in the history of our Country,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social today.

Will Trump run? Will DeSantis run? Will Joe Biden run? It may all be revealed in the coming weeks.
