New York Judge Wants Trump Silent Amid “Hush Payment” Trial, Issues Gag Order

Rabid leftist Judge Juan Merchan issued a gag order on President Donald Trump on Tuesday as he presided over the Stormy Daniels “hush payment” hearing.

The order comes after Trump slammed Merchan and his daughter, highlighting a conflict of interest because his daughter is a Democrat operative.

Judge Merchan is overseeing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump, as he accused the Republican nominee of falsifying business documents to cover up payments he made to Daniels, an adult film actress.

In his post on Truth Social, Trump said, “Judge Juan Merchan, a very distinguished looking man, is nevertheless a true and certified Trump Hater who suffers from a very serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“In other words, he hates me!”

“His daughter is a senior executive at a Super Liberal Democrat firm that works for Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, the Democrat National Committee, (Dem)Senate Majority PAC, and even Crooked Joe Biden.”

Trump denied all the charges, including his alleged affair with Daniels.

On Monday, the New York judge scheduled the trial date for April 15.

The former president also wrote on Truth Social about how Merchan treated Trump’s long-term employee, former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselber, viciously.

“This judge treated him viciously, telling him either you cooperate or I’m putting you in jail for 15 years.”

“He pled and went to jail for very minor offenses, highly unusual, served 4 months in Rikers, and now they are after him again, this time for allegedly lying (doesn’t look like a lie to me!), and they threatened him again with 15 years if he doesn’t say something bad about ‘TRUMP.” He is devastated and scared!”

“These COUNTRY DESTROYING SCOUNDRELS & THUGS HAVE NO CASE AGAINST ME. WITCH HUNT!”

Merchan, in his gag order, cited Trump’s history of blatantly criticizing prosecutors, court staff, and people in grand juries.

According to the Manhattan Supreme Court Justice, “such inflammatory, extrajudicial statements undoubtedly risk impeding the orderly administration of this court.”

“Given that the eve of trial is now upon us, it is without question that the imminency of the risk of harm is now paramount,” the judge added.

Furthermore, the judge’s order also barred Trump from expressing or “directing others to make” statements about expected trial witnesses.

However, the Republican nominee can still fire his shots against Bragg.

The order also applies to the prosecutors leading the case, which includes Assistant District Attorney Matthew Colangelo, a former top Justice Department official under President Biden.
