In these polarizing times, Elon Musk has reliably been cast in the role of victor or villain depending on who one would ask. In the aftermath of the torrent of press that has followed Musk through his rampage through Twitter, it seems that spotlight might now get turned on another woke institution… The New York Times. He just put The New York Times on the notice calling the newspaper ‘boring far-left brainwashing.’ Musk was responding to a post by one of the last true independent journalists we have in America, Matt Taibbi.

In fact, it has just been reported by Fox News that:
Musk called the New York Times “boring” in a tweet on Sunday and said the outlet was “far left brainwashing.”
“It is tragic how far The New York Times has fallen — basically just boring af far left brainwashing at this point. The boring part is truly unforgivable!” Musk wrote in response to author Matt Taibbi.
Taibbi said that while the New York Times said that America doesn’t “deserve” former President Donald Trump, the outlet does deserve him, “especially after winning a Pulitzer for a story botched across years.”
He included screenshots of New York Times headlines about Trump and Russia, including one that read, “Trump campaign adviser met with Russian to discuss ‘dirt’ on Clinton.”
Musk officially reinstated Trump’s Twitter account on Saturday evening after posting a poll on the platform.
According to Musk’s poll, 51.8% said Trump’s Twitter should be reinstated, compared to 48.2% who believed it shouldn’t.
Fox News then went on to report that:
More than 15 million Twitter users voted on Musk’s poll. The Babylon Bee, which had been banned from the platform for several months, had been reinstated on Friday.
“Kathie Griffin, Jorden Peterson & Babylon Bee have been reinstated,” Musk said on Friday.
“We’re back. Let that sink in,” The Bee wrote on Twitter after being reinstated. The Bee had been suspended before Musk purchased the platform for not removing a satirical tweet about Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine.
Musk tweeted Friday that his new policy at Twitter was “freedom of speech.”
“New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach. Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter,” he said.
“You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from rest of Internet,” he continued.
Musk officially purchased Twitter at the end of October after beginning the acquisition in April.

Former US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account has been reinstated on the platform.
The account, which Twitter banned following the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, was restored after Twitter CEO and new owner Elon Musk posted a poll on Twitter on Friday night asking the platform’s users if Trump should be reinstated.
“The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated,” Musk tweeted Saturday night. “Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” Latin for “the voice of the people is the voice of God.”
The final poll results on Saturday night showed 51.8% in favor and 48.2% opposed. The poll included 15 million votes.

The much-anticipated decision from the new owner sets the stage for the former president’s return to the social media platform, where he was previously its most influential, if controversial, user. With almost 90 million followers, his tweets often moved the markets, set the news cycle and drove the agenda in Washington.
Trump has previously said he would remain on his platform, Truth Social, instead of rejoining Twitter, but a change in his approach could hold major political implications. The former president announced this month that he will seek the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, aiming to become only the second commander in chief ever elected to two nonconsecutive terms.
Asked on Saturday what he thought of Musk purchasing Twitter and his own future on the platform, Trump praised Musk but questioned whether the site would survive its current crises.
Obviously, Elon Musk has been in the news for some time. In fact, The Raging Patriot reported back in August that Elon Musk has subpoenaed Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR) whistleblower, Peiter “Mudge” Zatko, seeking documents and communications on the company’s spam and alleged security vulnerabilities, according to a court filing obtained by The New York Times on Monday.
In a nearly 200-page document sent in July to regulatory agencies and the Justice Department, Mudge, a former Twitter security executive and well-known hacker, said that a number of security oversights by the social media business may have misled the board of directors, shareholders (including Musk) and the public.
According to the Times, both Musk and Mudge have accused the micro-blogging platform of fraud, but the claims are not identical.
