It has been revealed that the Biden administration continues its war against Trump, even after the announcement of the death of terrorist leader Ayman Al Zawahiri.

Former President Donald Trump was not informed about the U.S. military operation that killed terrorist leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, the National Security Council confirmed to Mediaite.

The Biden administration instead notified Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama before announcing the strike publicly.

The National Security Council did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether Trump was informed of the al-Zawahiri operation.

John Kirby, the National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, held a news conference where he was asked by Washington Post White House reporter Tyler Pager if the President phoned former Presidents Obama or Bush. “John, just a quick question. Before he launched his attack, did the President contact former Presidents Obama or Bush? – after the strike, before he in-”

Kirby interrupted and said, “The president did not consult with any former presidents prior to this operation.”

This is yet another example of the Biden administration’s war against Trump, which has been ongoing since Biden took office. It is clear that they are not interested in working with the former president, even on matters of national security.

In a speech from the White House last Monday, US President Joe Biden said that he had authorized a precise strike to get rid of al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri once and for all. “I gave the go-ahead for a precision airstrike that would remove him from the battlefield permanently,” Biden said. Zawahiri, who was born in Egypt and turned 71 last month, has remained an important global symbol for bin Laden’s organization since his death in 2011. He served as bin Laden’s personal doctor at one point.

The death of Zawahiri is a significant blow to al Qaeda, which has been significantly weakened in recent years. The terror group has lost much of its territory and its ability to carry out large-scale attacks.

However, Zawahiri’s death is not likely to end the threat from al Qaeda entirely. The group has a number of capable leaders and a large presence in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Al Qaeda also still has a strong online presence and is able to inspire lone wolf attacks.

The US has been targeting al Qaeda leaders with drone strikes for years. In 2011, the US killed bin Laden in a raid on his compound in Pakistan. In 2017, the US killed another top al Qaeda leader, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, in a strike in Syria.

The US has been carrying out drone strikes in Afghanistan since the early days of the war, but it is not clear how many al Qaeda leaders have been killed in these strikes. The US does not typically comment on individual strikes.

It is also not clear how the US was able to target Zawahiri specifically. The US has a large network of informants and surveillance assets in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The US has not said where Zawahiri was killed, but it is likely that he was hiding in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal region. This is a remote and mountainous area that has long been a safe haven for al Qaeda and other militant groups.
