“Holy Moly”: Female FBI Agent Busted After Sharing Bed & Smoking Weed With Man Accused In The Whitmer Kidnap Plot

It often seems that the appearance of impropriety can be just as bad, if not worse, than actual impropriety. Being caught in the act in particular, will have resonance and an effect that will not soon go away.
I suspect that everyone can think of their own favorite example of this. In many circles, it has hardly been an ideal week for the FBI. Many conservatives and Republicans have repudiated the FBI’s raid on Mar-A-Lago, including the likes of Ben Carson and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Well, now there has been another development.
It is now being reported by LibertyWire that:
A female FBI informant allegedly shared a bed and smoked marijuana with one of the men accused of plotting to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, according to new details that emerged in court earlier this week.
Lawyers for Barry Croft Jr., one of the alleged ringleaders of the kidnapping plot, say FBI informants improperly coordinated with the accused, the Washington Examiner reports.
FBI informants Jenny Plunk and Steve Robeson’s unusual relationship with Croft included smoking marijuana with him and traveling to several of his militia training sessions, lawyers said earlier this week.
Plunk also shared a hotel room with the accused on occasion.
Holy Moly–tuning in to Whitmer trial. FBI agent handling one of the informants admitted a female FBI informant slept in the same hotel room and same bed as Barry Croft, the informant's target.— Julie Kelly 🇺🇸 (@julie_kelly2) August 12, 2022
This was related to a training exercise in Wisconsin hosted by another FBI informant.
The shared room was meant to save costs, FBI special agent Christopher Long testified. He said Croft and Plunk didn’t have much money at the time, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Long also admitted, that during his time as an agent, he never monitored a case in which sources of the opposite gender stayed in the same room.
The details emerged during Croft and Adam Fox’s retrial. The two are alleged ring leaders of a summer 2020 plot to kidnap Whitmer over her Covid policies.
A federal judge ordered a retrial for the two plaintiffs after a jury failed to reach a verdict on the pair at an earlier trial.
In October 2020, 13 people were arrested in connection with an alleged plot to storm the state Capitol and kidnap Whitmer. Four of the men who were charged with kidnapping conspiracy went to trial in April.
Defendants Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta were found not guilty while the jury was deadlocked on Croft and Fox.
During the trial, questions were raised about the conduct of the confidential FBI informants who were embedded in anti-government militia groups during the alleged conspiracy.
Michael Hills, the attorney for Brandon Caserta, claimed that the FBI told an informant to lie and entrap group members.
Defense attorneys further argued that their clients would never have conspired to kidnap an elected official had they not been pushed into doing so by government informants.
The defense further argued that the accused were constantly high when the alleged plot was hatched.
The Post Millennial previously reported that Governor Whitmer repeatedly came under fire for draconian measures to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Whitmer also lost a court battle for extending of the state of emergency and several executive orders she claimed were necessary.
It has indeed been a wild week, to say the least, for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The sweet irony here is that it seems to have only made Trump more popular.
We recently reported that Trump’s popularity among the Republicans soared in the aftermath of the raid. In fact, there was a straw poll that was taken at CPAC in Dallas, Texas.
It was found that Trump enjoyed a staggering 99% approval rating. The same poll elaborated on this, stating that “Roughly 3 in 5 GOP voters now say they’d vote for Trump in 2024 Primary.”. Follow The Raging Patriot for more on this story as it develops!
