It was reported by ConservativeBrief that Democrats are still pushing investigations into former President Donald Trump and everyone that he may or may not have spoken to on the phone last January.
Democrats and their allies in the media are pushing the narrative that, “White House call logs from January 6, 2021, show a 7-hour gap. The January 6 Committee is probing whether Trump may have used aides’ phones or burner phones.”

A long-running narrative about a so-called “mystery gap” in official White House call logs for then-President Donald Trump on Jan. 6, 2021, appears to have already collapsed.
Despite assertions to the contrary, the Trump White House switchboard call log record is actually “complete,” CNN reported. In fact, according to a source, the call log is reflective of “typical phone habits” of Trump.
Though CNN’s report appeared to complain that the system used to track presidents’ phone calls is, and has been for decades, “imperfect and antiquated,” the Trump White House call logs are neither inaccurate nor incomplete.
“That said, the [January 6th Committee] still wants to know who Trump was talking to and what he was doing and not doing during the attack,” Gangel noted. “There are other phone logs and records they can check and ask for. This simply speaks to Trump not using the WH switchboard to place calls.”
“The mystery of the seven-hour gap has fueled furious speculation as to why calls are missing. That includes allegations that Trump was using ‘burner phones’ (which he has denied) or that the logs were purposely suppressed. But the gap might have a less mysterious explanation,” CNN noted in its report.
“According to multiple sources familiar with Trump’s phone behavior and the White House switchboard records, the January 6 log reflects Trump’s typical phone habits,” the report said. “He mainly placed calls through the switchboard when he was in the residence but rarely used it when he was in the Oval Office. The fact the log does not show calls on January 6, 2021, from the Oval Office is not unusual, said the sources, because Trump typically had staff either place calls directly for him on landlines or cell phones. Those calls would not be noted on the switchboard log.”
“The six pages of White House switchboard logs for January 6, 2021, are complete based on an official review of White House records, according to a source familiar with the matter,” CNN added. “There are no missing pages and the seven-hour gap is likely explained by use of White House landlines, White House cell phones and personal cell phones that do not go through the switchboard.”

Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan is ready to fight back.
Jordan is also calling for investigations into Democrats if Republicans win back control of Congress in November’s midterms.
The Ohio Republican is warning that the Democrats’ committee investigating the incident at the U.S. Capitol is a “political operation” aimed at stopping Donald Trump from running for president in 2024.
“There’s been subpoenas issued to 11 individuals, 11 American citizens who asked the government permission on an application to hold the Trump rally,” Jordan said. “The government granted it and now the January 6 committee petitions them to ask them questions about exercising their First Amendment right to assemble.”
“And why would they subpoena me? I didn’t do anything wrong — I talked to the president,” Jordan said. “I talk to the president all the time. I just think that’s — you know where I’m at on this commission — this is all about going after President Trump. That seems obvious.”
“Everyone in the country sees this as a political operation. This is designed to get after President Trump. Because they don’t want him to run again,” he added.
