Governor Ron DeSantis shot back at the ladies on “The View” after they suggested that he was scamming campaign donors.
A co-host of the show, Alyssa Farrah Griffin said, “For folks who aren’t familiar, what a lot of these apps and websites do is you click to give once, and it actually signs you up to recurrently give. It is so unfair. It is a grift. It is terrible.”
Another co-host, Sunny Hostin chimed in, “People are losing their homes, losing their savings.”
Ron DeSantis quickly cleared the air.
“I got accused by some of these people on one of these shows about, ‘oh, he’s raising all this – people want to donate to him.’ And they tried to say that like, we had auto-donate where it keeps going every month. We do not do that in my campaign.”
“We do not do that auto because we don’t want people to have these charges if that’s not something they didn’t agree with.”
“So they tried to act like I was doing that and then some of these media went and said, ‘Wait a minute, he’s not doing that.’ So they were lying about that.”
“You donate. Fine. You can click a button to make it auto.”
“At the end of the day, we have folks, some people are on fixed income, very limited, and they will donate a certain amount and that’s very meaningful.”
“Not everybody has the capacity to write these big checks, we would never do automatic unless you personally as the contributor, press that button.”
“And so I think it’s very important, particularly as Republicans, when you’re raising money amongst your own people, that you’re doing it in a way that has honesty.”
“And so if my name is being used to trick people into providing donations for something that they don’t necessarily want to do, that is definitely wrong,” he said.
A quick search of his donation page shows that what they accused DeSantis of is completely false.
“The View” is known for its consistently bad and wrong takes.
The Raging Patriot previously reported on an outburst Whoopi Goldberg had on the show:
Last Wednesday The View panelist and her four other co-hosts swayed in during a Wednesday episode dominated in the headlines about the deadly school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Texas and shooter Salvador Ramos after 19 children were killed along with two teachers.
The extreme left-leaning Whoopi Goldberg rip the GOP after playing Clips of comments from two prominent Democrats President Biden and Jennifer Chris Murphy of Connecticut, who demanded the Republican support the passage of enhanced gun control measures following these two terrible mass shootings.
Goldberg then quoted “What are we doing? Why are we always at square one with this? And I swear to God, if I see another Republican senator talk about their heart being broken, I’m going to punch somebody.”
Whoopi wasn’t the only one with harsh words. Joy Behar joined in, as well.
“I want them to stop gas lighting me also. Stop saying it’s not guns that kill people, it’s people that kill people. It’s guns that kill people, okay? Stop saying the opposite. Stop saying that mental illness is behind this,” Behar said.
“There’s mental illness and every country in the world and They don’t have this problem.”
The view needs to be taken of the air! No one cares about your opinions or comments. Shut up already! Oh, and Woopi, why didn’t you leave the United States when Trump was elected?
Agree 100% with Mary J Bridges…The View has 4 total idiots on the show. They are full fledged Dems and we all know how Dems think…they don’t!!! They have a platform on that sorry so called entertainment show and do they every use it. They promote all the Dem lies and add a few of their own. I will be so glad when they bring the View down so far that ABC decides it would be their best judgment to get rid of this joke of a show!!! Perhaps then, they will all leave the U.S.!!!
