Elon Musk and President Joe Biden have been in a feud for some time now.

In February, Musk accused President Biden of ignoring his electric vehicle company, Tesla, and paying more attention to legacy automakers, like General Motors.

This past Monday, General Motors reported that they will be building their new electric vehicle plant in Mexico…not in the United States.

They will be building their 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV at a plant in the northern Mexican city of Ramos Arizpe.

Musk reminded everyone that Teslas are the “most made-in-USA vehicles.”

According to a GM press release:

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV 2LT and RS go on sale in summer 2023, priced starting around $47,59510 and $51,99510, respectively. The SS follows later in 2023, priced starting around $65,99510, followed by the 1LT and the PPV fleet model in Q1 2024.

The 1LT will be priced starting around $44,99510. Additional details and ordering information will be available closer to the start of production.

Blazer EV will be produced at GM’s Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, production facility, which manufactures the current Blazer.

Earlier this year, Ford also announced it would be investing more money in electric vehicles.

Ford is investing $11 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 11,000 jobs across the country. GM is making the largest investment in its history—$7 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 4,000 jobs in Michigan,” Biden said.

Musk responded at that time, “Tesla has created over 50,000 US jobs building electric vehicles & is investing more than double GM + Ford combined.”

Elon has also called for the U.S. to produce more of its own oil and gas, despite Tesla being an electric vehicle company.

The Raging Patriot previously reported:

Elon Musk, the billionaire creator of Tesla, the world’s leading electric car manufacturer, has urged the Biden administration to increase domestic oil production in the aftermath of Russia’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine, in order to assist the country to wean itself from Moscow’s supplies.

“Hate to tell it, but we urgently need to expand oil and gas output,” Musk tweeted on Friday. “Extraordinary circumstances necessitate extraordinary methods.”

“Obviously, this would have a severe impact on Tesla, but sustainable energy alternatives simply cannot respond instantly to compensate for Russian oil and gas exports,” Musk, who also established SpaceX and the Starlink satellite-based Internet service, noted.

Musk’s push to raise domestic oil production comes in the midst of substantial price increases caused, in part, by President Joe Biden’s reversal of previous President Donald Trump’s home-focused energy production plans and increasing reliance on risky foreign supplies such as Russian oil.
