AMAZING DISCOVERY: Archeologist claims the Biblical Mount Sinai has been found in Saudi Arabia

Archaeologists have claimed to have found the true location of Mount Sinai, the sacred mountain depicted in the Bible. They believe that archeological remains on the site in Saudi Arabia line up with the passage in the Book of Exodus, some of which are restricted areas by the Saudi government.

Although archeologists claim to have mounting evidence that points to Mount Sinai, many scholars believe the event to be a work of fiction. “Certain scholars claim the Exodus is a myth because no evidence at the traditional Mount Sinai is Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, but what if they were looking in the wrong spot?” Ryan Mauro President of Doubting Thomas Research Foundation told the Sun.

The real site, Mauro claims, is in the northwestern province of Saudi Arabia; and he believes to have convincing evidence to prove it. “Move over into the Arabian Peninsula and you find incredibly compelling evidence matching the Biblical account”, Mauro told the Sun. The researchers of the Doubting Thomas Research Foundation went on to identify Jabal Maqla, a peak in the Jabal al-Lawz mountain range, as Mount Sinai.

In the Book of Exodus, Moses leads the Israelites to Mount Sinai, which is engulfed in flames and thunder. Moses, the prophet, ascends the mountain and receives the Ten Commandments from God. Because of this, Mount Sinai has become one of the most sacred places among the Christian, Jewish, and Islamic religions.
