US Citizenship Application Goes Woke, Migrants Can Now Identify “X” as Gender Option

Another DEI nonsense was imposed by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on Monday, April 1, as they added a third gender option on applying for naturalization.

Applicants can now choose from male, female, or “X” when requesting US citizenship. According to USCIS, this move will help the agency be more accurate in confirming identity.

Worse, migrant applicants are not required to show proof or any documents to corroborate their gender choices and can proceed with carrying other immigration and identity materials with varied designations.

The agency claims that this policy would reduce limitations on immigration.

“Historically, USCIS forms and associated documents have only offered two gender options.”

“This has created significant barriers for requestors who do not identify with either of those options,” USCIS remarked.

The agency further said in its statement that “offering only male and female selections also resulted in administrative issues when applicants presented foreign government-issued documents listing third genders.”

In March 2023, USCIS allowed applications to select their gender without providing any documentation. This is part of the Biden administration’s move to remove barriers that limit access to immigration.

“This revision is consistent with efforts to break down barriers in the immigration system and reduce undue burdens on accessing immigration benefits, while still maintaining identity verification and fraud prevention procedures,” USCIS stated.

“Form N-400 is the only USCIS form that offers the X gender option at this time. Therefore, until we complete additional form revisions that add the X gender option, naturalization certificates are the only USCIS-issued secure identity documents that can reflect the gender X. The X gender option is not yet available on Form N-565,” said USCIS.

Meanwhile, USCIS’ efforts to verify identity and prevent fraud remain questionable.

The policy change on USCIS also followed the State Department’s DEI move, allowing gender “x” as an option in applying for a passport.

State Secretary Antony Blinken hinted that this move would motivate other agencies to follow suit.

“The department is setting a precedent as the first federal government agency to offer the X gender marker on an identity document,” Blinken remarked.

“We continue to work closely with our federal government partners to ensure as smooth a travel experience as possible for all passport holders, regardless of their gender identity,” he added.

Former presidential candidate and entrepreneur, Vivek Ramaswamy quipped, “The current priority of U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services isn’t to fix the mass illegal immigration crisis. It’s to introduce ‘a third gender option on their forms. Can’t make this stuff up.”

“I’m glad we have our priorities in the right place!” Nick Sortor mockingly remarked.
