Entitled Illegals Lament Food and Shelter “Not Good Enough”

African migrants surged into New York City on Tuesday to complain about the food and accommodations provided by the city for a set period.

Speaking with the members of the Committees on Immigration and Hospitals, one woman lamented that her children could not eat the food at the shelter.

She added that during Ramadan, they “couldn’t eat” because when they return during the breaks, “the food is no good at all.”

“And they give us two months to stay at the shelter, and then you have to go out again with your luggage and your kids and find another place. It’s very difficult.”

She also whined that her eldest child, who is already 18 or 19, cannot attend school.

The Tuesday meeting, dubbed “The Experiences of Black Migrants in New York City,” was attended by around 1,300 illegal migrants from Guinea in West Africa; however, only 250 were allowed to enter the chamber.

The goal of the meeting is to consult black immigrants on their experience in the city.

City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams promised the migrants that the city council would create a “New Arrivals Strategy Team” to work on the complaints raised during the hearing.

According to reports, an activist organization provoked the crowd to turn up in New York City, while some were promised that they would be given free visas or green cards if they attended the event today.

Amadou Sara Bah, from Guinea, quipped, “They told me that they would help me get a work permit and a green card if I came here today.”

“There are many people here, and we don’t know how to get the help they told us would be here,” Bah said in an interview with The Post.

“I came here for a green card. I’m looking for help.”

New York City Councilwoman Vickie Paladino, during the consultation, couldn’t contain her anger and said, “MORE MORE MORE. How much more are we supposed to do for you?”

“I have to ask you all: What motivated you to come here thinking the streets are paved in gold?? They are not.”

Savanah Hernandez of The Post Millenial posted on X the long queue of illegal immigrants gathered outside of City Hall.

“Hundreds of illegal immigrants from Haiti and Africa are currently in front of City Hall in New York. The majority are single men and mainly French-speaking,” Hernandez tweeted.

In another tweet, Hernandez wrote, “In front of City Hall, illegal immigrants wave the Guinea flag after crossing into the US and making their way to New York, where they will receive free housing, food, and medical care, all at the taxpayer’s expense.”
