BOMBSHELL REPORT: DC National Guard “In Full Battle Gear” Awaits Deployment But Pentagon Delayed Orders

The Washington DC National Guard is all geared to appear in Congress and testify under oath that President Donald Trump did request for members of the National Guard to be deployed as reinforcement during the Capitol demonstration on January 6, 2021, but the Pentagon delayed relaying the information.

In an exclusive report from DailyMail.com, at least three officers will testify on Wednesday during a House subcommittee probe and press on the now-defunct J6 select committee for denying their testimonies because they didn’t fit their narrative.

The scheduled hearing will also serve as proof that President Trump indeed ordered Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller to allow advance approval of the DC National Guard deployment.

However, then-Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy delayed relaying the notice to DC National Guard Commander William Walker by at least two hours.

According to the witnesses, the Pelosi-led January 6 panel was focused mainly on how to pin the entire violence that day on President Trump, instead of investigating how officials relayed the commands and how to improve military preparedness to prevent similar events from occurring.

National Guard officers recalled being aboard buses that day in full tactical gear while waiting for the signal from the Pentagon.

During the previous Pelosi-led hearing, McCarthy testified and claimed that he did relay the order on time; however, DC National Guard forces only discovered mobilization in a press conference, which resulted in the delay of response—a three-hour and 19-minute delay, to be exact.

Some noted that the Army secretary aims for a place in President Joe Biden’s incoming administration and does not want to give the impression that the Army, through him, was attempting to derail or interfere in the certification of the 2020 election results.

The hearing, scheduled for Wednesday, was dubbed ‘Three Years Later: D.C. National Guard Whistleblowers Speak Out on January 6 Delay’ and aims to investigate whether Trump was to blame for the delay in the response of the National Guard.

The whistleblowers will also detail how the former January 6 panel declined their testimonies because it supports the statements of Trump and his associates that he advised the National Guard days before the protest to respond if there was any violence or unrest during the January 6 demonstration.

Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund and DC National Guard leader Maj. Gen. Walker also testified that Army Lt.Gen. Walter Piatt, then-Army Staff Direct, remarked: “I don’t like the visual of the National Guard standing a police line with the Capitol in the background.”
