White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Blames GOP Lawmakers For The Horrifying Nashville Shooting

Earlier this week, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre accused GOP lawmakers of the horrifying school shooting incident which occurred in Nashville, Tennessee.

Apparently, the killer looked like a female teenager and was fully equipped with a handgun and at least two assault-type rifles.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated: 

“How many more children have to be murdered before Republicans in Congress will step up and act to pass the assault weapons ban?”

Biden has also suggested boosting background checks, putting a ban on assault rifles and high-capacity magazines, and influencing states to embrace “red flag” laws.  

The majority of lawmakers are against the measure, noting problems of its violation of United States’ Citizens and their constitutional privileges. 

A shooter on the move was reported at Covenant School located at Covenant Presbyterian Church. 

The shooter was encountered by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) and has been declared dead. 

Currently, the students are being re-assembled with their parents and guardians at the Woodmont Baptist Church.

Nashville Fire Department tweeted:

“We are responding to an active aggressor at 33 Burton Hills Blvd Covenant School. We can confirm we have multiple patients. Parents coming to the school should go to 20 Burton Hills at this time. this is an active scene.”

Metropolitan Nashville Police Department declared: 

“An active shooter event has taken place at Covenant School, Covenant Presbyterian Church, on Burton Hills Dr. The shooter was engaged by MNPD and is dead.”
