WATCH: Trump Supporter Kicked off Southwest Airlines After Removing his Mask to Eat a Snack

Southwest Airlines, which requires all passengers aged 2 and older to wear a mask at all times, kicked a Trump supporter off the flight traveling from Tampa to Dallas. A video filmed by another passenger shows the exchange between the passenger and a crew member. The attendant asks the passenger to put his mask on, but the passenger says that he is trying to eat and he can’t eat and wear a mask at the same time.

The airline is claiming that several employees and crew members asked him to wear a mask while on the flight and even before boarding. The man is seen wearing a mask under his neck because he lowered it to eat. He did in fact have a mask, one that said “TRUMP”, but told the attendant he was only trying to eat. He was also wearing a “Black voices for Trump” hat.

The woman filming the video comes to his aide, demanding to know the policy that prevents him from taking off his mask while he is eating. Another woman, that can be seen in the video, says she saw him wearing the mask but he only took it off when he went to eat his snack.

Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter after the incident saying, “WTF??? This is disgusting. I’ve been on a thousand flights in the last few months and everyone lowers their masks to eat and drink. I did it on a southwest flight earlier this week.”

The man, after making his case to the crew, was taken off the flight and moved to another one. A representative for the airline said, “Our reports indicate that a customer traveling on Flight 2632, with scheduled service from Tampa to Dallas, was asked repeatedly by more than one employee at different times to wear a face mask. The customer did not comply with our crew’s multiple verbal requests – including while boarding the flight before seated. The decision was made to return to the gate and re-accommodate him on a later flight to his final destination after receiving assurances he would comply with our face-covering policy. We regret the inconvenience the situation created for all involved, but our crew must uphold the well-being and comfort of all passengers.”

At the end of the video someone says, “just comply”, the woman filming responds, “Yeah, and that’s what they said in Germany too, right. Just comply.” Watch the video below.
