It’s not often that ABC’s The View has Republican guests on their show. And when they do, it’s often to attack and belittle them.

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas was not about to let that happen.

In his appearance on the daytime talk show on Monday, Cruz not only had to contend with the cantankerous show hosts but some very vocal audience members trying to interrupt the Texas senator as he tried to speak.

They were screaming out about climate change which had absolutely nothing to do with the interview.

Once they were escorted out by security, the hosts were able to get back to their real mission: accuse the senator of undermining democracy.

The hosts claim that Cruz tried to keep Donald Trump in power following the 2020 election. They made it clear that they question his character for standing by the former president.

Cruz reminded the ladies of The View that, “There are a lot of folks in the media that try to, any time a Republican is in front of a TV camera try to say, the election was fair and square and legitimate. Do you know who y’all don’t do that to? You don’t do it to Hillary Clinton who stood up and said, ‘Trump stole the election.’ Or Stacey Abrams who said the election was stolen. They sat here and said it was illegitimate.”

Now it was time for Whoopi Goldberg to chime in. She yelled out, “It was!”

Cruz didn’t back down. “You guys were fine with it. If it’s illegitimate when Republicans win, but not when Democrats…”

Goldberg tried to put her side on a pedestal saying they handle election losses better than Republicans.

She replied, “Here’s the thing… we may not like when Republicans win, but we don’t go and storm… we don’t try to change it.”

Ted Cruz had to remind her, “Did I miss an entire year of ANTIFA riots where cities across…”

Goldberg interrupted him to say that she didn’t know what he was talking about. “I don’t know what an Antifa riot is.” Antifa is a myth after all, right Rep. Nadler?

Cruz brought the receipts. He whipped a piece of paper out of his pocket and began going down the list of all the Democrats who had declared that an election had been stolen or characterized as illegitimate.

Just recently at a campaign event, the Republican candidate for the Arizona gubernatorial seat, Kari Lake, laid out 150 examples of Democrats questioning election results.

Anna Navaro jumped in and asked the senator to lower his voice. Apparently, facts are too much for her to handle. She couldn’t possibly let the senator point out the hypocrisy.

Americans had to put up with four years of screaming, temper tantrums, and riots following the 2016 election. But when people question Biden getting the most votes in history, that’s undermining democracy.
