Over a year is now past since the global pandemic first hit and still there is no clear answer to where this COVID-19 virus originated from.
At least the answer is not clear to the World Health Organization (WHO) lead by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. This Friday the head of WHO insisted that its scientists have not ruled out the possibility of the VIRUS originating from the Wuhan Laboratory in China. This is an abrupt change considering the past position held by WHO that the origins are highly unlikely to be tied to the China Lab in Wuhan.

Director Ghebreyesus stated “Having spoken with some members of the team, I wish to confirm that all hypotheses remain open and require further analysis and studies.” With no clear answer to the virus’ origins, some critics have begun questioning the effectiveness of the investigations and really just how trustworthy they are. Finding the origins can stand to provide much help for future developments and even in virus preventative measures and procedures.
