Trump Slams “RINOs”, McConnell For “Ruining America”

Former President Donald Trump had some choice words for Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell in which he harshly criticized the 79-year old Republican for his “weak leadership” of the GOP.

“Under the weak leadership of Mitch McConnell, Senate Republicans continue to lose. He lost Arizona, he lost Georgia, he ignored Election Fraud and he doesn’t fight,” Trump said. “Now he’s giving Democrats everything they want and getting nothing in return.”.

The snipes came in the form of a public statement following a 76-32 vote in which the Senate sought and succeeded in advancing a “bipartisan” infrastructure bill. A bill that Trump had staunchly warned against moving forward with, warnings that were unheeded by 17 Republicans.

As the Washington Examiner reports, “No deal is better than a bad deal. Fight for America, not for special interests and Radical Democrats,” it continued. “RINOs are ruining America, right alongside Communist Democrats.”.

On Wednesday, McConnell confirmed via his official twitter that he will intend on voting for the infrastructure bill, “Based on a commitment from Leader Schumer to Senators Portman and Sinema that the Portman-Sinema amendment to be filed will be the substitute amendment, I will vote to proceed to the bipartisan infrastructure bill.”.

Trump finished by saying that, “no deal is better than a bad deal” and closed by stating that the GOP needs to “Fight for America, not for special interests and Radical Democrats. RINOs are ruining America, right alongside Communist Democrats.’

In the same statement, Trump, never one who will accused of mincing words, said pointedly that the bill ‘… is a loser for the USA, a terrible deal, and makes the Republicans look weak, foolish, and dumb. It shouldn’t be done.’

According to the White House, “the deal includes $550 billion in new federal investment in America’s infrastructure. “. The statement says that expenses for the bill will be covered by unspent COVID-19 relief fund and by new cryptocurrency tax collections.
