TROUBLE FOR BIDEN: Bannon Predicts That President Biden’s Immigration Policy Failures Could Result In His Impeachment

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon predicts that President Joe Biden will be impeached for his handling of the border immigration crisis. On the War Room podcast, Bannon asserted that the president has deactivated ICE and Border Patrol and that if impeached, they will pursue him as a criminal. He went on to add that the president should face criminal charges for enabling his actions to lead to the country’s invasion. Bannon isn’t the only one who thinks this way. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, more than half of Americans believe Biden should be impeached.
Almost the same number of respondents say Republicans would do the same if they took control of the House in the midterm elections in 2022. If Biden is impeached, he will face a Senate trial, where Republicans have a strong chance of regaining power following the November elections. The findings come as both Biden’s and Vice President Kamala Harris’ approval ratings have altered substantially in their first year in office. According to an early December I&I/TIPP survey, about one-third of Democrats wanted Biden to run for reelection. “Who do you want to see run for president on the Democratic ticket in 2024?” respondents were asked.

Nationally, 22% selected Biden, 13% Vice President Kamala Harris, 4% Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and 3% Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Joe Kennedy (D-MA), and Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. 31 percent of those questioned are unsure. Only 37% of Democrats want Biden to run for president on the Democratic ticket again in the next presidential election cycle, demonstrating his lack of mainstream support. Another 16% of Democrats supported Harris, while the remaining 13% are unsure. “Even Democrats are angry over Biden’s re-election.” According to the survey, “just 37% want him there.”
