“Tough”,”Unpopular”; New COVID Mandates Spells Trouble For Businesses and Federal Employees

In a draconian step towards the Democratic realization of an Orwellian state, President Biden has announced that federal workers need to surrender their self-evident right to privacy, specifically medical privacy.

Biden went on to state that, “All federal workers must report their vaccination status or be subject to strict requirements.  Any federal worker who does not attest to their vaccination status or is not vaccinated will be required to mask no matter where they work, test one to twice a week, socially distance, and generally will not be allowed to travel for work.”.

In a venomous comment to businesses that would have an interest in working with the government, Biden stated simply that, “I directed my administration to take steps to apply similar standards to all federal contractors.  If you want to do business with the federal government, get your workers vaccinated.”.

Biden seems to be extending an iron fist to all dimensions of Government, stating that he recently directed “the Pentagon look at adding COVID-19 to the list of vaccinations that are required for our troops because others are required.”. Additionally, Biden crowed that he “…approved the Department of Veterans Affairs to require doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers who care for our veterans to be vaccinated”.

These measure seem even more unnecessary than they would have a year ago. The worst seems to be over regarding the virus and the worst America seems to still have to contend with is the pathetic Delta variant which, as TrendingPolitics points out, “The 7-day average for COVID-related deaths is at 388 per day, which is a little over one per million.”.

This entire play reeks of the totalitarian temptation as Government continuously grants itself a larger and larger arrogation of power that could well lead to the fabled Big Brother-controlled nanny state that the great George Orwell warns humanity about over half a century ago.
