The NBA Will Not Bring Back BLM Messaging on the Court Next Season
According to Adam Silver, the commissioner for the NBA, his league will not continue the BLM messaging on the courts for the next season when it starts. The reason behind this is up for discussion of course between the right and the left.
Ratings Collapse
The ratings collapse is a plenty good reason to avoid the messages from re-appearing next year. From a business perspective, the NBA bubble has been bad for the league because they haven’t been able to retain their audience that they had before. Many on the right have decided to not watch the playoffs this year because of the BLM messaging that is shoved down viewers throats nearly every game.

The League Won’t Eliminate Politics Completely
League commissioner has said that they support the social justice movement. He said “We’re completely committed to standing for social justice and racial equality and that’s been the case going back decades, it’s part of the DNA of this league. How it gets manifested is something we’re gonna have to sit down with the players and discuss for next season.”
It is yet to be seen what the league will do next year. It is clear that the ratings collapse does weigh down the league, but will the pressure from the BLM activists prevail? Or will smart business decisions prevail?
