The Illegal Migrant Crossing Issue At U.S.- Mexico Becomes Crisis as Crossing Surge Passes 1 Million

There have been a cavalcade of calls for impeachment of gaffer-in-chief, Joe Biden. The nature of these calls range from his clownish handling to the eviction moratorium as well as his hypocritical handling of would-be Cuban refugees seeking shelter from a malevolent, psychopathic dictator.

But far and away, the most traversed grounds for impeachment have centered around his obscene “handling” of the border crisis. Former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis has already called for his impeachment over the issue. Texas Governor Greg Abbot went so far as to call it a “constitutional crisis“. Additonally, the mirant crisis is quietly, but significantly contributing to the spread of COVID, which has shown that over 20% of the children who illegally crossed the border also tested positive for COVID.

This crisis has just reached the stratosphere as, according to Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection officials,the number of migrants crossing, illegally, into the country reached a record 1 million! According to the Washington Post (normally a risible wadge of liberal consensus) , “the number of migrants detained along the Mexico border crossed a new threshold last month, exceeding 200,000 for the first time in 21 years”.

As Johnathan Davis of TrendingPolitics.com reports, the “…Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that CBP apprehended more than 212,000 illegal migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border last month, an eye-popping number though critics caution that figure does not account for the number of migrants who were not intercepted.”. The Texas Tribune points out hauntingly that,”Border apprehensions have risen every month since President Biden took office, presenting political and logistical concerns for the new administration as Democrats seek to pass legislation that would allow the 11 million undocumented immigrants already living in the United States to apply for citizenship.”

Mayorkas went on to say that the “…CBP enforcement numbers for July – 212,672 persons were encountered attempting entry along the southwest border, a 13 percent increase over June 2021,”.

The situation at the border has gotten completely out of control. Biden needs to get focus his diminishing and addled mind on the problem and get to work on a solution. If, not perhaps the clarion call of so many will finally be answered and articles of impeachment will be introduced.
