Steve Bannon Just Dropped Earth Shaking News – Announces Crucial Democrat Senator Will ‘Switch Parties’ in 2024

The former Trump advisor and campaign manager made a prediction regarding Democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona. Steve Bannon thinks that the centrist will “switch parties” in 2024. 

What prompted this prediction? It was an event held at the University of Kentucky at which Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, the Republican senator from Kentucky, praised Sinema for her bipartisanship. 

Sinema is often criticized by her party for not voting in lockstep with the Democrat party on spending legislation and their plan to get rid of the filibuster. 

The Arizona senator was in attendance at the event held at the McConnell Center. The minority leader introduced her as the “most effective first-term senator I’ve seen in my time in the Senate.”

“She is, today, what we have too few of in the Democratic Party: a genuine moderate and a dealmaker,” he said.

Her bipartisan actions don’t go over too well with her Democrat constituents. Her disapproval rating among Democrats of her state sits at 57%. 

Bannon shared an article on Gettr entitled, “McConnell Cozies up to Sinema Ahead of Next Congress.” He added his own caption…”Senator Sinema is looking downrange at the ‘24 cycle when the Republicans will only increase the majority they win in the Senate in ‘22 …the ‘24 cycle is that strong — watch her switch parties or go ‘independent’ and caucus with the Majority.”

Some political pundits believe Sinema is “attempting to live up to the ‘maverick’ legacy of the late Senator John McCain.” She seems to be curtailing the progressive plans of the far-left members of Congress and irritating her base at the same time. 

Sinema looks at her job a little differently than many elected officials. She doesn’t view members of the opposing party as the enemy. 

She stated, “Despite our apparent differences, Sen. McConnell and I have forged a friendship, one that is rooted in our commonalities, including our pragmatic approach to legislating, our respect for the Senate as an institution.”

In such a divisive environment, we must have lawmakers who are willing to work together for the good of the American people. Sinema is not winning any prizes though for her bipartisanship. 

Her progressive Democrat colleagues are often frustrated with her views on abolishing the filibuster. They would like to ditch it so they can push through their agenda ahead of the midterm elections. 

When speaking to the crowd in Kentucky, the senator said, “I have an incredibly unpopular view.” Besides supporting the 60 vote requirement to pass legislation, she wants to go even further. 

“I actually think we should restore the 60-vote threshold for the areas in which it has been eliminated already. We should restore it,” she said and then paused to let the audience applaud their approval.

“It would,” she said, “make it harder for us to confirm judges. And it would make it harder for us to confirm executive appointments in each administration.” Doing so would force compromises and create “more of that middle ground in all parts of our governance,” she said.

Sinema is up for reelection in 2024.
