Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Wants to Keep a Record of Trump Supporters and Hold ‘Trump Sycophants’ Accountable

Far-left Democratic Representative for New York Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted on Friday that  ‘Trump Sycophants’ should be held accountable for their complicity. She wants their to be a compiled list of everyone who supported President Trump and is assuming that in the future they will “downplay their complicity”.

This comes after President Trump and his supporters are calling out voter fraud and the violation of a fair and free election in 2020. It is likely she is referring to that and any members of the Trump Administration.

She isn’t the only one calling for an archive of Trump supporters either. Several media users announced the creation of the “Trump Accountability Project”. The project aims to “make sure anyone who took a paycheck to help Trump undermine America is held responsible for what they did.”

There is even an official website for the project; it opens up with a header calling for people to never forget what Trump, his administration, and his supporters “did” and for furthering his “agenda”. It prefaces their mission statement with, “We should welcome in our fellow Americans with whom we differ politically”. And then says,

“But those who took a paycheck from the Trump Administration should not profit from their efforts to tear our democracy apart. The world should never forget those who, when faced with a decision, chose to put their money, their time, and their reputations behind separating children from their families, encouraging racism and anti-Semitism, and negligently causing the unnecessary loss of life and economic devastation from our country’s failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Trump is a good president. Despite disagreeing with him, his policies, his personality, or anything else about him, he kept the promises he made on the campaign trail and that says something. Democrats are convinced Joe Biden has won the election and will be moving into the White House in January. But the election isn’t over yet. There are plenty of outstanding issues still ongoing with the election; the Trump campaign is suing Michigan for preventing watchers from observing the counting and there is a mandatory vote recount in Georgia and maybe other states as well. It ain’t over till it’s over, and it ain’t over.
