According to Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz on Newsmax, a Justice Department filing released on Friday claiming Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign members paid a company to infiltrate Trump Tower and White House servers constitutes probable cause that the campaign was involved in dirty politics.

Dershowitz said that, whether they crossed the line towards wrongdoing or not, we need not rush to judgment in consideration of the filing by special counsel John Durham, who is reviewing the start of the 2017 Mueller investigation.

The professor emphasized that the findings had not yet been made public to his knowledge.

The professor repeatedly advised against rushing to convict the Clinton campaign of criminal wrongdoing.

He claimed that almost every indictment so far has been for procedural violations rather than campaign activity.

“What we see are some preliminary memoranda. The indictments are process crime indictments, that is, not substantive indictments.” he said.

“Not that you did something in the campaign, but that you lied about it, you covered it up. As people say all the time — it’s always in the cover-up. So, stay tuned. I think we’re going to have a very strong and very solid report.” he added.

The professor went on to explain that, as a friend of Hillary Clinton, he is disappointed by the scenario, but he has yet to see any material directly linked to her.

According to Dershowitz, “we’re going to uncover very, very filthy politics on the part of some people in the Clinton campaign.”

The professor stated that he voted for Hillary Clinton and that he considers Hillary Clinton to be a friend. He went on to say that he has yet to see anything that points directly to Hillary Clinton.

He stated that the investigation must be continued and that he anxiously awaits the conclusion of a complete and definitive report.
