President Trump to Sign a Born-Alive Protection Order for Abortion Survivors

Wednesday morning President Trump announced that he’ll be signing a new executive order to protect all babies born alive, either prematurely or from surviving abortion, that they will receive proper medical care.

“Today I am announcing that I will be signing the born alive executive order to assure that all precious babies born alive, no matter their circumstances, receive the medical care that they deserve. This is our sacrosanct moral duty.”

This new law does not provide any restrictions or limitations on abortion, but requires that babies who survive a failed abortion attempt be given the medical care that they deserve. The Born-Alive Infant Abortion Survivors Act has been proposed several times, but never passed into law.

Similar versions of the bill have been passed in several states already. The fullness of the bill is yet to be released with complete details of the executive order.

President Trump also said that his administration would be “increasing federal funding for neonatal research, to ensure that every child has the very best chance to thrive and to grow.”

“We believe in the joy of family, the blessing of freedom and the dignity of work, and the eternal truth that every child, born and unborn, is made in the holy image of God.”
