President Trump is Booed While Visiting the Casket of Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is lying in repose at the United States Supreme Court. President Trump and Melania Trump visited the Supreme Court to pay their respects to Justice Ginsburg and were met with loud boos and chants to “vote him out”. As the President’s motorcade passed by, bystanders yelled “honor her wish” and “respect her dying wish”.

RBG’s granddaughter told NPR and BBC that her grandmother’s dying wish was that her seat not be filled until “a new President is installed”. Whether that means Trump is out of office completely or if he were to win reelection.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany responded, “The chants were appalling but certainly to be expected when you’re in the heart of the swamp.”
