“Out Of Office”; Press Secretary Psaki Strongly Criticised For Taking A Break During Global Conflict

The proverbial “gone fishin’ ” sign was surreptitiously hung on the front door of the Oval office as Biden recently began a two-week summer vacation to Delaware. It now seems that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is going to be circling back to her political post as the crisis in Afghanistan worsens, as well as the U.S.-Mexico border catastrophe, on top of the draconian impositions foisted upon the American people by the Biden administration.

With much to ask the Press Secretary on any or all of the aforementioned topics, FOX News reached out to the administration for a plan, a statement, or really anything concerning the newest crisis to occur under the Biden administration, that of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. As FOX News subsequently reported,”I will be out of the office from August 15th-August 22nd,”. Further commenting on the thunderous silence coming from the Biden administration, FOX further reported that the absence has been noticed. “Where is Joe Biden,” asked Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., a Navy veteran who served in Afghanistan, asked on Twitter as the crisis unfolded Sunday. Meanwhile, the White House has only broken its silence to share a picture of the president being briefed on the situation by senior officials.”This morning, the President and Vice President met with their national security team and senior officials to hear updates on the draw down of our civilian personnel in Afghanistan, evacuations of SIV applicants and other Afghan allies, and the ongoing security situation in Kabul,” the White House posted on Twitter.

Yahoo News further noticed and reported on this, writing that an emailed “…query from the Washington Examiner sent Sunday evening to President Joe Biden’s top spokeswoman prompted an automatic reply from Psaki’s account that said she “will be out of the office” Sunday through next weekend. The request for comment included questions about when Biden plans to address the situation in Afghanistan and take questions from the media. The automatic response did include information about reaching other members of the press shop for comment. The Washington Examiner reached out to them as well. Still, the automatic email reply from Biden’s leading connection to the media is sure to add to the firestorm centered on Biden’s relative absence as the U.S.-backed Afghan government falls.

It has been stated previously by your’s truly that the Biden administration can best be categorized or characterized as a long period of nothingness punctuated by periods of nastiness. It seems the Biden administration is at least attempting to keep that axiom alive.
