Nancy Pelosi Says It Would Have Been the “Simple Thing to do” by Turning Off Trump’s Mic During the Debate

Appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Nancy Pelosi was asked if the Presidential Debates should continue as scheduled and she said that no one “should reduce themselves to being on the stage with him because we know what his behavior was going to be like” but failed to answer the question.

She continued, “I’m just sorry that they didn’t turn off the microphone when it was Joe Biden’s turn to speak and turn it on when it was the president’s turn to speak, and we would have not had this disruption. You would have thought that would have been a simple thing to do.”

She also said that it was a “sad night for our country” because Donald Trump failed to “disassociate himself from white supremacists”. But he has in fact denounced it several times and even plans to deem the KKK as a terrorist organization. Now, someone who either is a white supremacist, as many people shout, or wouldn’t “disassociate” themselves with such ideology, would not deem the KKK, a white supremacist group, as a terrorist organization.
