“More Impeachable Than Watergate!”; GOP Republican Wants Biden Out

It is a clarion call that seems to be sounding with greater frequency and decibels as Texan Republican Representative Chip Roy called for the impeachment of both President Biden and his Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

In a target-rich field of potentially impeachable offenses, Roy has gone after both Biden and Mayorkas for their hanging of the illegal immigration crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border.

In a lengthy and damning tweet yesterday, Roy let a few inconvenient truths regarding the crisis be known to the public and perhaps even to Biden and Mayorkas themselves.

“PRELIMINARY JULY BORDER NUMBERS (USBP only, subject to increase) Total encounters: 205,029 Total known gotaways: 37,400 1.3 million for FY 21 so far Largest monthly encounter number since 2000. Total is bigger than every full-year total since FY21”.

Futher down the thread, Roy went on to break the numbers down by individual sector and the numbers were shocking to say the least, but the most terrifying figure followed the sector breakdown when Roy elucidated on the fairly well know, nut nonetheless quiet fentanyl epidemic coming in as result of uncontrolled borders. “

“Now, take that and factor this in: CBP agents and officers have seized more than 8,500lbs of fentanyl during the first 9 months of FY21 That’s not only an increase of 234% year over year It’s enough to kill everyone in America five times over, (since 2mg can be fatal)“!

Hammering the point home with Thor-like intensity, Roy went on to remind the President of what he seems to have forgotten in that cartels and coyotes are making millions perday off the back of children via their trafficking. This along should merit impeachment.

Over the course of the tweet, during which Roy chastised over 60 House Republicans by for not signing a discharge petition that he and fellow Representative Yvette Harrell for which they tried to force a vote for over three months ago, Roy finished his impassioned battle cry, saying that “It’s time to draw a line in the sand, for the sake of our country, our communities, our kids, and those who seek to come here. It’s time to impeach @SecMayorkas for failing to uphold immigration law, enforce Title 42, and secure our border.”.

It was nationally syndicated radio host Jesse Kelly who tweeted out that “What Joe Biden is doing at our border is impeachable. It’s more impeachable than Watergate. This is an attack on the sovereignty of America and it’s coming from the Oval Office. Republicans should move to impeach after 2022”. It was this tweet that set Roy into fighting mode as he and at least some of the House Republicans will hopefully move for a Biden impeachment.
