Moderator Chris Wallace Releases Topics For First Debate Between Trump And Biden
The first presidential debate will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Cleveland, Ohio. The debate will be a 90-minute forum, divided into six 15-minute segments. Some major topics that will be discussed include the Supreme Court nomination battle, the Covid-19 pandemic, and the violence/unrest that has struck across major cities in America. Specific questions will not be shared with the public.
Three more topics that will be discussed are the economy amidst the pandemic, the records of Trump and Biden, and the integrity of the election. The commission explained that topics were “announced in advance in order to encourage deep discussion of the leading issues facing the country.” Topics listed are subject to possible changes.
There will be three total presidential debates before the November election. The second will be held in Nashville, Tenn. on Oct. 15, and the third held in Miami, Fla. on Oct 22. There will also be a vice presidential debate on Oct. 7, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
