Mike Lee has joined his fellow senator from Kentucky Rand Paul in demanding that future aid to Ukraine is stopped until both parties come to a diplomatic conclusion to end the war. He would also be joined by Marjorie Taylor Greene, Eli Crane, Matt Rosendale and others from the house.
He would also lay out in a tweet stating that we have already sent $113 billion to Ukraine an enormous sum. He would also say that we are about to be asked for even more money.
Mike Lee would also follow up with another tweet saying Putin is bad, but this is not our war.
Several republicans in the house like Marjorie Taylor Greene have been saying in recent months that we need to audit Ukraine and or stop money from being sent to Ukraine. However, Mike Lee and Rand Paul are the first senators to come out and be against future aid to Ukraine.
We have enough debt in the USA. We shouldn’t be sending money anywhere.
