Megan Rapinoe SALTY After Losing To Canada At Tokyo Olympics

After the historic U.S. women’s soccer team losing to Canada at the Tokyo Olympics and losing the Gold medal, team’s forward Megan Rapinoe spoke to reporters saying, “Obviously, we never want to lose to Canada. I don’t think I’ve ever lost to Canada. … this sucks. It sucks.”
“It’s terrible. We just didn’t have it today, just too many errors from us again. I felt like the space was there for us to play, and we just couldn’t get into it, too many touches or, you know, an errant touch.” Rapinoe said. “That’s football. They got, I think, one shot on goal, a PK, and from what it sounds like, it was a PK. So yeah, it’s a bitter one to swallow. Obviously, we never want to lose to Canada. I don’t think I’ve ever lost to Canada.”

Megan Rapinoe is the most outspoken activist in this National Team. She has protested and kneeled several times during the national anthem. Back in 2019 when President Trump invited the US team to the White House, Rapinoe rudely declined the offer saying “I’m not going to the fu**ing White House.” She however agreed to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s offer for a tour of the House of Representatives.
