MASSIVE WIN: Representative Jim Jordan Urges Republican Lawmakers To Launch Impeachment Articles Towards President Joe Biden

Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, a Republican, said Friday that the House of Representatives should consider impeaching President Joe Biden. According to The Washington Times, Jordan, the senior Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, noted Biden’s failure to handle the enormous surge of migrants at the US-Mexico border.
Every House Republican, according to the Ohio representative, would have to agree on probable impeachment. Jordan told the newspaper, “I believe that’s absolutely a topic we need to have.” “The conference must make a decision.” You must have total buy-in from the whole conference, as well as the conference leadership.”

According to the Texas Tribune, Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz suggested Biden may be impeached if Republicans take control of the House after the 2022 midterm elections, “whether it’s deserved or not.” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a Republican, sponsored a resolution to impeach then-President-elect Biden only days before he took office.
“On behalf of the American people, I’d want to say that we must ensure that our leaders are held responsible,” Greene added. “We cannot have a US president who is prepared to misuse the position of the presidency and be easily paid off by foreign governments, Chinese energy businesses, and Ukrainian energy firms.” As a result, on January 21, I’ll file articles of impeachment against Joe Biden.”
Republicans have slammed Biden’s administration, notably at the southern border, where Border Patrol captured 164,973 people in February, up 7% from the previous month. The government has also faced a barrage of criticism over its departure from Afghanistan.
An impeachment trial would be led by Mr. Jordan’s committee. However, the legislator stated that any attempt to remove the 79-year-old president from office would require the approval of every House Republican.

Mr. Jordan stated, “The conference has to decide.” “You must have total buy-in from the whole conference, as well as our conference leadership.” Some Republicans have already expressed interest in having Mr. Biden removed from office.
Mr. Biden’s disastrous U.S. exit from Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths of 13 military members murdered by a bomb while defending the Kabul airport, prompted four House Republicans to announce their intention to bring articles of impeachment against him in September. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, a Republican, believes Mr. Biden will be impeached if the GOP regains control of Congress.
Mr. Cruz stated earlier this year on his “Verdict with Ted Cruz” podcast, “Yeah, I do believe there’s a risk of that, whether it’s warranted or not.”
Democrats currently have a narrow majority in the House of Representatives. As voters sour on President Biden and an increasingly left-wing Democratic agenda, campaign strategists think the House GOP will pick up enough seats to reclaim the gavel and maybe flip dozens of blue districts. To gain majority control of the House, Republicans need a net gain of five seats.
Republicans may potentially gain enough seats in the Senate to restore control. Because to Vice President Kamala Harris’ tiebreaking vote, the Senate is now equally divided but controlled by Democrats. If Republicans pursue impeachment procedures against Mr. Biden, they will be turning the tables on Democrats.
President Trump has been impeached twice by the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives. In 2019, he was impeached for the first time, for attempting to get Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to probe the Bidens. After a brawl in the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, which Democrats blamed on Mr. Trump, Democrats impeached him for the second time. In 2021, ten Republicans voted to impeach Mr. Trump.
The Senate failed to get the two-thirds majority needed to convict Mr. Trump in both impeachment trials. Mr. Jordan stated that the spike in illegal immigration is “one of the factors” that renders Mr. Biden impeachable.
In 2021, border authorities saw more than 1.7 illegal immigrants at the southwest border, about four times the amount of unlawful crossings the previous year, when Mr. Trump was president. Critics point to Mr. Biden’s policies, which include allowing illegal immigrants traveling with children to stay in the nation while waiting for asylum hearings rather of sending them to Mexico.
Mr. Biden also revoked additional Trump-era immigration policies that were sending over 1,000 migrants back to Mexico every day and discouraged others from crossing the border illegally.
The Biden administration was obliged to begin the program by a federal judge, but out of the almost 5,000 daily interactions with border jumpers, the Biden administration is returning about 8 individuals back to Mexico every day.
Mr. Jordan answered, “Just look at the border.” “The president of the United States is expected to police the border laws, but he isn’t doing it.”
Republicans would be more willing to start an impeachment trial against Biden, Mr. Cruz said on his podcast, because Democrats spent four years pursuing Mr. Trump.
Mr. Biden’s unwillingness to enforce immigration rules violates Article 2 of the Constitution, according to the senator, and is “probably the strongest grounds right now” for impeachment. Republicans feel Democrats harmed Mr. Trump by politicizing the impeachment process, and they may be ready to retaliate, according to Mr. Cruz.
