The Republican Rep. from Wyoming, Liz Cheney is going through another major loss against former United States president Donald Trump.

Recently, the House Select Committee, which was investigating the Jan. 6 riot, has withdrawn a subpoena issued to Donald Trump in October.

“As you may know, the Select Committee has concluded its hearings, released its final report, and will very soon reach its end,” Chairman and Democratic Rep. from Mississippi, Bennie Thompson stated in a letter that was sent to the former president Donald Trump’s lawyer.

“In light of the imminent end of our investigation, the Select Committee can no longer pursue the specific information covered by the subpoena.” Trump took a victory lap saying:

“Was just advised that the Unselect Committee of political Thugs has withdrawn the Subpoena of me concerning the January 6th Protest of the Presidential Election. They probably did so because they knew I did nothing wrong, or they were about to lose in Court.”

The Republican Rep. from Colorado, Lauren Boebert mocked the Jan. 6 Committee regarding their failure.

“I’m confused. The J6 Committee withdrew @realDonaldTrump’s subpoena,” she snarked. “I thought they were sooooo close to catching him? I thought his imprisonment was “imminent” and “inevitable?” Weren’t “the walls closing in?” Oh, well. Better luck next time, kids.”

Earlier, Trump’s attorney David A. Warrington said:

“Long-held precedent and practice maintain that separation of powers prohibits Congress from compelling a President to testify before it.”

Trump’s lawyer Harmeet K. Dhillon also stated:

“After my firm filed suit on separation of powers grounds to block January 6 House Select Committee’s illegitimate subpoena to President Trump over his activities while president— the committee waved the white flag & withdrew the subpoena.”

He also added, “we were confident of victory in Court, given precedent & refusal of prior presidents to testify in Congress. J6 committee wasted millions for a purely political witch-hunt, total abuse of process & power serving no legitimate legislative purpose.”

Trump also praised his legal team and said “Kudos to my outstanding @dhillonlaw colleagues for the win!”

The other backstabber working alongside Cheney was the Republican Rep. from Illinois, Adam Kinzinger. In protest, he whinnied that it wasn’t “over.”

“Nah Don’t worry.” Kinzinger declared. “His time will come….ain’t over.”

Both of these GOP Reps. are betrayers trying to use their power to take down a political opponent, Trump, who is also from their own team. The American Justice System should only serve justice against wrongful actions and crimes; instead, these politicians are trying to use it for a witch-hunt.

Kinzinger and Cheney compromised themselves by siding with the Democrats but they were still unable to prosecute Trump. Moreover, the Democratic party gerrymandered Kinzinger out of his job as a token of appreciation for his role in the witch–hunt.
