LEAKED: Russian Media Network Inadvertently LEAKS Shocking Death Tolls, Then Quickly Claims They Were Hacked

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed 10,000 dead Russian servicemen and 16,153 injured in Ukraine on Monday, according to the pro-Russia newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda. After then, the tabloid removed the compromised numbers and issued a statement claiming to have been hacked.

It comes as Ukraine claims to have assassinated a fifth Russian general, severely eroding Putin’s army’s resolve. Lieutenant-General Andrei Mordvichev, commander of the 8th Combined Arms Army, was killed in action at Kherson, in southern Ukraine.

On Wednesday, Major-General Oleg Mityaev, 47, was murdered in Mariupol, increasing the total number of Russian commanders killed in the war to 13. Ukrainian Interior Ministry adviser Anton Gerashchenko shared a photo of the deceased distinguished military commander, a father of two.

Lieutenant General Andrei Mordvichev, the commander of the 8th General Army, was killed in combat on Friday night, dealing another setback to Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. The military chief is believed to have been murdered near the Russian-controlled Kherson Airport, which has been struck by Ukrainian strikes in recent days.

“The commander of the 8th All-Military Army of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Andrey Mordvishev, was killed as a result of fire on the enemy by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” according to a statement from the army general staff in Kyiv.

He is the latest high-ranking Russian military figure to perish in the conflict. Colonel Sergei Sukharev of the 331st Guards Parachute Assault Regiment died on Friday, Russia said. After severe battle near Hostomel, the elite paratroop leader died. Following the loss of a spy captain in Ukraine during a “top-secret” operation, Vladimir Putin has now lost a total of 13 commanders in the invasion.

Captain Alexey Glushchak, a GRU military intelligence agent from Tyumen, Siberia, perished amid the bloodbath in Mariupol. Corporal Danil Novolodsky, 24, a senior gunner on an air assault artillery unit, was also laid to rest. Vladimir Putin issued a proclamation awarding him the Order of Courage. Another funeral was performed for Vladimir Plekhanov, a foster child who died at the age of 24.

According to accounts, Sagyndyk Kudaibergenov, a 22-year-old Tyumen resident, was buried with military honors, just like the GRU spy. While transporting communications equipment across a river, he was killed by mortar fire. Kudaibergenov was assassinated on February 26th, although his burial was not held until March 11th.
