LOL That Backfired: Woke Actress Alyssa Milano Gets Hilariously Mocked After Her Protest Against Elon Implodes

There is certainly no shortage of lefties whining about Elon Musk. They seem to much prefer their echo chamber than the marketplace, or perhaps it would be better called a battlefield, of ideas. Well, notorious whinger and sometime actress, Alyssa Milano has done what the left has proven themselves to do so well. That is clumsily virtue signal and perfectly set themselves up for ridicule. It really is unbelievable how many people are against hearing opinions different from their own. Even more amazing that these people think that they’re the morally superior for thinking this way.

Now, it has just been reported by Fox News that:

Actress Alyssa Milano was blasted on Twitter, including by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, after saying that she “gave back” her Tesla and replaced it with a Volkswagen. 

“I gave back my Tesla,” Milano, a prominent supporter of Democrats on Twitter, posted Saturday. “I bought the VW ev. I love it. I’m not sure how advertisers can buy space on Twitter. Publicly traded company’s products being pushed in alignment with hate and white supremacy doesn’t seem to be a winning business model.”

Twitter users, many of them conservative, criticized Milano over the tweet with many pointing out Volkswagen’s ties to the Nazi Party during the early days of its inception.

“Volkswagen was literally founded by the Nazi’s and Hitler,” conservative political commentators The Hodge Twins posted which earned a crying laughing emoji and a “100” emoji from Tesla CEO Elon Musk who recently purchased Twitter.

Fox News went on to report that:

“Wait till you learn who founded Volkswagen!” Political strategist Pete D’Abrosca posted.

“Lulz,” the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire tweeted along with references to Volkswagen’s beginnings as a state sponsored automotive company during Hitler’s reign in Germany.

Representatives for Alyssa Milano did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

Milano’s tweet suggested that she had found a way to give back her Tesla in response to Musk’s recent purchase of Twitter and the controversy that has surrounded his decision to bring back accounts that had been removed for violating the company’s terms of service, including former President Donald Trump’s.

“The people have spoken,” Musk tweeted after a poll he posted on Twitter showed the majority of respondents wanted the former president back on the platform. “Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”

It was further reported by Newsweek that:

A professed Trump supporter called Milano a “special kind of stupid.”

“Imagine selling your Tesla because the owner supports free speech then going and buying a car founded by Nazis,” Collin Rugg wrote. “@Alyssa_Milano, you are a special kind of stupid.”

Musk purchased Twitter in October for approximately $44 billion and has vowed to make it a free speech platform for everyone. Last weekend, Musk posted a poll on Twitter asking if former President Donald Trump should be reinstated after his ban in January 2021.

More than half the voters thought Trump should get his Twitter account back, but the percentage margin was thin. Here were the results from Musk’s poll.

Newsweek went on to report that:

Trump’s Twitter account and many of his other social media accounts were banned after the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection by his supporters at the U.S. Capitol. Social media platforms like Twitter suggested Trump incited the riots that resulted in several deaths.

“The people have spoken,” Musk about six minutes after the poll ended. “Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”

That last line was tweeted by Mexico President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, a leftist who was among more than 15 million accounts that voted in the poll. It translates to “voice of the people, voice of God.”

“I already voted for Trump to be able to use Twitter. The Statue of Liberty must not remain an empty symbol,” López Obrador wrote in a retweet.

So, the liberal meltdown (to fall into the ever-present trap of cliche) seems to continue over Elon Musk for committing the unforgivable act of upholding freedom of speech. It is a good thing these people have no principles because one can imagine kind of principles they would hold if they did. One must bear in mind the freedom of speech isn’t just the right of the person who speaks to be heard, but it is the right of everyone in the audience to listen and to hear. Everyone you silence someone, you become a prisoner of you own action because you would deny yourself the right to hear something.
