Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana commented on the contents of this bill: “They told us it was a real infrastructure bill. It’s not; only 23% of the bill is real infrastructure, the rest is Green New Deal and welfare. They told us the bill was paid for; it isn’t, we’re gonna have to borrow maybe up to $400 billion to pay for it. They told us there were no tax increases. There are.”
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who voted in favor of Biden’s spending bill, had strongly opposed a similar spending bill proposed by President Trump in 2016. Trump had campaigned on actual infrastructure spending that McConnel opposed. President Trump’s spending plan was much lower than that of this current Biden bill and a majority of this is going to things like Green New Deal and other SJW causes than actual infrastructure.
President Trump weighed in over the weekend calling out McConnell: “Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill is a disgrace. If Mitch McConnell was smart, which we’ve seen no evidence of, he would use the debt ceiling card to negotiate a good infrastructure package.”

It’s disgusting. They shouldn’t call themselves Republicans!!! They have no back bone, if they are Republicans. When will the Republican party stand up to the socialist commie.
Very disappointed in Rob Portman being from Ohio. Now I am glad he is leaving.
Vote these traitor RINOS out of office!! They just committed political suicide!!!
Yes they did!! Our elected employees are behaving very badly.
Are they crazy! We need to stop the march to socialism. This bill is a Trojan horse.
Every one who voted for the bill is getting a kick-back in one form or another. Follow their market stock purchases and I bet it falls in line with the spending spree
I’m glad no one from Oklahoma was simpleminded enough to vote for this bill to destroy America.
once again these rinos let the country down. go along to get along.. no more! these clowns must be shown the door at the next opportunity.
They should all be kicked out of the party . The only way anything will ever change in Washington is if there are all replaced at the same time and never allowed back for any reason. They should have all there business dealings investigated . Everyone is millionaires within the first term . Wonder why ? And they are all in this together and the ones that ain’t get Blackmailed into doing what the others say.
RINOS – all anti-American
Time for him to be primaried!
