LEFTIST VIRTUE SIGNALING: Cleveland Indians announce name change to very odd ‘Cleveland Guardians’

The Cleveland Indians formally announced that they will change their name to the Cleveland Guardians. 

The Cleveland baseball organization announced that beginning in the 2022 season, their name would be changed from the Indians, a name they have gone by since 1915, to the Guardians. The Indians are the second major sports team to change their name in the past year, following the Washington Redskins changing their name to the Washington Football Team.

Sports clubs with “problematic names” are changing them to public controversy. However, they have not given any reason for why the name “Indians” is problematic.
