Kieth Olbermann Calls for Prosecution of Sean Hannity, Amy Coney Barrett, Mike Lee and Others; Calls Trump a Terrorist
Keith Olbermann is a former host for MSNBC and, up until recently, ESPN. He said that he left the mainstream network because ESPN had “released him a little bit early” from his contract so he could start his own live daily commentary YouTube show called ‘The Worst Person in the World’ with focus on President Trump and the upcoming election.
In one of his first episodes he made for a dramatic display of calling for several Trump supporters, including Sean Hannity, Amy Coney Barrett, and Mike Lee, to be prosecuted. For what? He didn’t give any specific or even nonspecific examples as to what these people could have done to be deserving of prosecution. It seems the only crime they are guilty of is thinking differently than Olbermann and the leftist mainstream.

The video is nearly 14 minutes long and he called President Trump a terrorist, saying that he needs to be “expunged.” He said that President Trump was a part of the plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, even though there is no proof of that and it’s an outlandish claim, to say the least.
In this extended tantrum he said, “So, let us brace ourselves. The task is two-fold: the terrorist Trump must be defeated, must be destroyed, must be devoured at the ballot box, and then he, and his enablers, and his supporters, and his collaborators, and the Mike Lees and the William Barrs, and Sean Hannitys, and the Mike Pences, and the Rudy Gullianis and the Kyle Rittenhouses and the Amy Coney Barretts must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society while we try to rebuild it and to rebuild the world Trump has destroyed by turning it over to a virus.”
Not once does he mention anything worthy of prosecution, conviction, and imprisonment; which is what he wants to happen to these people. He couldn’t-and didn’t-name a single thing that any of these people “have done” that would deem a necessary investigation. Probably because they haven’t done anything to deserve being put behind bars. Thinking differently than someone is not a crime, but wanting to make that a crime is just plain wrong.
It’s interesting that he mentions the virus saying the country is essentially in ruin by any of Trump’s doing. Looking at reports from across the nation, a vast majority of cities and states still on lockdown and experiencing high numbers of covid cases and deaths are democratic run. President Trump is a Republican and majority of Republican cities and states have mostly opened. It’s the failed leadership and floundering policies of democrats that have caused this country to suffer, especially through this pandemic.
It’s not enough to just say that you want someone imprisoned for crimes you say they committed. There must be hard, undeniable, irrefutable evidence of a crime. It’s not enough to point your finger and say boo. But the democrats have experience with this don’t they? Is Brett Kavanaugh or “Russian collusion” ringing a bell for anyone? Oh yeah, that’s right. Those are just two examples when democrats went looking for something that wasn’t there, and called for something undeserving of punishment. Keith Olbermann wasn’t the first, and he won’t be the last.
