Joe Biden Pleas With Senate Republicans to not Confirm a New Justice to the Supreme Court Before the Election
Joe Biden practically begged Senate Republicans to not confirm a new Justice to the Supreme Court before the election asking them to find deep down and do what they know to be “right for the country and consistent with the Constitution”.
Biden plead, “So I appeal to those few Senate Republicans-the handful who will really decide what happens. Don’t vote to confirm anyone nominated under the circumstances President Trump and senator McConnell have created. Don’t go there.”

He said that voters need to be able to decide first who the next president is and then, after inauguration, they can make that decision. He continued to say that it was the vision of the Constitution for Americans to decide who has the power to make this appointment. He’s right, and currently President Trump has that power to make an appointment.
During his speech, Joe Biden praised the late and former Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for all her accomplishments throughout her life. Biden also said, “To jam this nomination through the Senate is just an exercise in raw political power and I don’t believe that people of this nation will stand for it.”
