INSANE: San Francisco gay men’s choir sings ‘we’re coming for your children’—GOP lawmakers deliver this FIERY response

The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus is facing a wave of backlash after offering up what it described as ironic humor about fears surrounding children and the “gay agenda.”

The lyrics of the song are: “You say we all lead lives you don’t respect. But you’re just frightened. You think that we’ll corrupt your kids if our agenda goes unchecked. Funny, just this once, you’re correct. We’ll convert your children – happens bit by bit, quietly and subtly and you will barely notice it… Just like you’re worried, they’ll change their group of friends, you won’t approve of where they go at night. And you’ll be disgusted when they start learning things online that you kept far from their sight… We’ll convert your children – Yes we will! – reaching one and all, there’s really no escaping it, cause even grandma likes RuPaul… The world’s getting kinder, Gen Z’s gayer than Grindr…We’re coming for them. We’re coming for your children…The gay agenda is coming home. The gay agenda is here.”

The song is meant to be taken as “tongue-in-cheek humor,” according to a message posted on the Chorus’s website, sfgmc.org. “As a result, we have seen the user comments on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram become increasingly alarming,” reads the SFMGC statement, which is attributed to artistic director Dr. Tim Seelig, executive director Chris Verdugo and board chair Glenn DeSandre. “Emails to individuals and the chorus office are vitriolic — including threats of harm.”

The video was originally posted on July 1, but SFMGC has since made it private so that it cannot be viewed by the general public. “We feel the first action we must take to keep everyone involved with the chorus and the making of this video safe is to turn the video to private,” the statement reads. One journalist for conservative publications called the video “sick” because the chorus boasts about “converting” the children of conservatives. Allegedly, some of the men in the choir were convicted pedophiles but these reports have not been confirmed.
